Some of you received a message from a young woman in New York, who unfortunately is a misguided soul. She was couth enough not to be obscene, but I'd rather not have her be a member of the Coolest Episcopalians. I am sorry about this. I will do what I can to screen all future members.
Oh, come on now. Surely if Margeen (who certainly seems to be an innocent little lamb) is a misguided soul, what better person to have as a member of the Coolest Episcopalians?? What a dear, sweet girl...
Maybe I should email her and let her know that she can be a part of the coolest episcopalians, so long as she doesn't ask people to join her for private chats.
I turned off my computer Friday afternoon (how uncouth) so whatever Margene said that provoked this desire for additional security missed me. Whatever you want to do is okay with me, but it sounds as if the guys are just delighted with a little spice in their Coolest Episcopalians.
Well, I received Margene's comments while on vacation and unable to access the whole page. I must admit that I was perplexed and flattered, all at the same time, that Margene would consider me chat fodder -- especially since there is a picture of me on the site which is not exactly flattering (in my opinion). Now, I come in this morning and check out the site for the first time in over a week and find out that Margene has invited everyone to chat. While the company on this site is very good, and quite worthy of chat, I feel sort of mislead by Margene. I thought it was me, yes me, with whom she desired to chat. Now I find that is everyone, I feel, well, less important.
That being said, I am all for security measures. If Margene wants to discuss heaven, hell, barbeques or war colleges, then she should be allowed so to do. However, I think I would carefully read her comments under the discussion "tell and interesting thing about yourself. Methinks that if entered, they may have to be edited for content.
